Thank you for visiting my site! I had been lazy my posts for a while, but with a huge encouragement from my friends, I finally decided to upload a new piece. Lately, my paintings have tended to feature somewhat bittersweet themes, so this time I chose to create something cheerful.
Is the light coming from the sun, the moon, the land, or the depths of the sea? I wanted to create an atmosphere where the setting could be anything, depending on the viewer's own interpretation.
Using bubbles raining down from the light, my characters are happily preparing a meal—though there are two exceptions secretly snacking in the bottom-left corner. On the right, a large bunny is making soup while twin mushrooms carry it over. Magda, the yellow cat with odd-colored eyes, is getting the barbecue ready. Over on the left, Pago the Pancake Gorilla is making dessert, while his friend—an orange bird—gathers bubbles alongside Suima-chan.
